Go Wild for Colourful Animal Print
Posted on
There's a rumble in the jungle and it's bursting forth in glorious multicolour.
All the cool cats are going wild for animal prints this year, but not the usual earthy-toned camouflage, instead the catwalks have been full of a reimagined rainbow menagerie.
The vivid hues of the animal print pieces from the Acne Studios Autumn/Winter 2016 Ready-To-Wear Collection caught our attention with their colour-clashing style.
And the models who prowled down the leopard print stencilled Cavalli Catwalk at Milan Fashion Week in moody leopard print pieces showcasing the Cavalli Spring/Summer 2017 Collection showed that colourful animal print is here to stay well into next year.
Oh how we love Jeremy Scott and the rainbow of big cat and cow prints he unleashed onto the catwalk as part of his Cowboys and Poodles Collection at New York Fashion Week. Ever the King of punchy pieces and candy colours, this collection had our eyes popping. If only we lived in a world where cows were pink and leopards were emerald.
As always, the tide of influence from runway to interiors and back again has seen colourful animal print flood our homes as well as our wardrobes. We're loving the colourful prints on these homeware pieces below from Jonathan Adler, Otis Batterbee and Seventy74.
The new brilliantly bright Big Cat Camo print from Safomasi that launched at London Design Festival 2016 is a wild mix of camouflage, tiger stripes and leopard spots in bright greens, oranges and reds - it's the perfect way to bring the colourful animal print trend into your home and make sure you stand out from the herd.
So break free from the pack and fill your home with the craziest colourful animal prints you can get your paws on.
