As recent Brighton residents, we've been getting to know our new home by eating and drinking our way about town, finding out what's tasty and where looks good. Some call it meetings, we call it eatings with a side portion of small business chat.

Living near Battersea Power Station, I’ve been keeping a watchful eye as the area grows and begins to bring some exciting new eateries to the area. So, when I heard that Choki Dhani – a traditional Indian restaurant serving high end Rajasthani cuisine - was bringing its first UK-based eatery to the development, I was the first in line.

So this is Christmas, and hopefully you've done all the tree-trimming, present-wrapping and cake-baking you intended to do this year. If you haven't; don't worry, we get yet another chance next year to make it right. So if you've set the bar low this Christmas good on you, you've plenty of room to up the seasonal stakes in 2017. Very well played. 

Just over a week until Christmas, and festive frolics are in full swing. This weekend is set to see an explosion of Friendmas parties all over town, as people get together with their closest buddies to eat, drink and be a little bit too merry, before they go their separate ways for the Christmas celebrations next weekend.
