This beautiful textured Umbrella Necklace is handmade from brass with a hammered finish by the Flowering Desert Project in Tamil Nadu, South India. The umbrella and raindrop pendants are cut and finished by hand and hang from an antique-style brass chain. There is even a little cloud charm fixed to the clasp, a lovely finishing touch.

The Flowering Desert Project offers a way for the talented women of Tamil Nadu to increase their skills and future work possibilities as part of a collaborative design process with the wonderful people at Just Trade.
