It is made from organic naturally cream-coloured cotton, so it is super soft and can stand a chew or two (and is machine washable, phew). 

Every purchase made helps support a fledgling mirco-enterprise run by real women in one of the many shanty towns of Peru. These women simply want to use their existing skills to create long-term employment to support their families.
