Multi String Sari Bead Necklace - Red
Made from small wooden prayer beads covered in red, cerise pink and mustard upcycled vintage silk sari remnants, this necklace is one-of-a-kind and tells its own colourful story.
Each dainty bead is tied in place by hand with cotton thread creating the six strands, and an open tie at the back means the necklace can be worn at any length (even as a statement headband for a bohemian look).
House of Wandering Silk design and produce these necklaces in Delhi, India as part of a collaborative process with trusted artisans. These necklaces support their zero-waste policy so that none of the beautiful vintage sari fabric they source is wasted.
As each piece is entirely unique they are sold as photographed - once a necklace is sold, it's gone forever!
Necklaces do not contain any metal parts and are perfect for those who need their accessories to be light and not pull on the back of their neck.
